notes"Widely proliferated, light armored, multi-purpose, fully amphibious, auxiliary armored tracked vehicle, which was first introduced in the 1950s. Originally produced to tow several pieces of Russian equipment that were integrated into the army at the same time, the MT-LB has been modified many times and integrated into all mechanized and armor units. The MT-LB is also produced in Poland, where (starting in the mid-1990s) its Russian YaMZ engine was replaced by a Polish one."
